The initiative of the city of Turku brings performances to less conventional locations. On board the library bus, String duo Kleio performs music of Bach, Sibelius and Kreisler.

String duo Kleio members are playing again in many ensembles during Lieto Chamber Music Days 11.-16.6.2023 and Iittala Music Festival 18.6.2023

During the chamber music concert series of Kärntner Sinfonieorchester, String duo Kleio performs duos of Paganini, Martinů and pieces of Kreisler. More information (in German) you can find here!

In this program we want to share with the audience the cold but amazing beauty of Scandinavian music. We both are coming from the North, and thus this program is coming directly from our souls. In addition to the master-pieces of world-known nordic composers, Jean Sibelius and Edvard Grieg, we will perform Duo of "Scandinavian Mozart" Bernhard Crusell, whose classical harmonies are contrasting to the rustic, folk-fiddling style of "Capricci" by Norwegian composer Bjarne Brustad.

In the Festive Summer Concert we play music of Vivaldi, Strauss and Kreisler among others.

In the concert of Duo Kleio will be heard string duos from the Nordic countries

In the 150 years celebration concert of composer Paul Juon, the members of String duo Kleio will join with Sylvia Hurttia, violin, Juhana Ritakorpi, cello and Tuomas Nikkanen, piano for playing the amazing 2nd piano quintet of this less known composer. Among other pieces Ivan will also play with pianist Tuomas Nikkanen the Viola sonata No. 1 of Paul Juon. More information (in Finnish) you can find here!

Duo Kleio performs with Magdalena and Manuel Flecker during the service of Easter Sunday.

Duo Kleio plays the music during the service of Good Friday at the church of Martin Luther, Krumpendorf am Wörthersee. Between the speech of priest Martin Madrutter will be performed the works of  J. S. Bach, J. Chally and G. Platti.

The String Duo Kleio is augmenting once again into Odysseus String Quartet with Sylvia Hurttia and Johannes Teppo, as the chamber opera of Sampsa Ertamo "Yllätä ikuinen virta" is being performed again. This time the venue is the concert hall of Hämeenlinna, "Verkatehdas".
